TKE and Yuasa provide 3D printed induction toolings using metal 3D printers.
We are innovating induction heating process with our latest metal 3D printing technologies. Traditional inductor fabrication require skilled and experienced personnel, but with metal 3D printing technology, making inductor coil is as easy as touch of a button! Our induction coils are made with 3D print technology called powder bed fusion. This method uses metal powder and infrared laser to form the shapes of coils. Traditional hand fabricated coils can take up to 2 months to complete, but with 3D printing technology, the same coil can be made in 2 weeks.
3D printed coils offer leak-proof design that prevents water leak since there is no welding/brazing done to the coil.
