MBN is an advanced materials company specialized in production of metal powders through the Mechanomade® process, a proprietary powder material technology.
MBN materials have an ultrafine crystalline structure which delivers unique physical and mechanical properties resulting in superior performance compared to standard alloys.
MBN have developed powders with innovative formulations utilized in the mainstream industries by sintering, spraying and laser AM. Main products are metal composites for abrasive tooling industry, powder for friction application in automotive and ODS steels for high temperature operation. Among the surface applications MBN is producing Titanium for biomedical coating, green carbides for wear and corrosion resistant, customized metal composite for the sputtering target industry. Special hard steels and CerMet for laser deposition are also available. MBN have installed a HVAF plant where R&D findings are prototyped and validated with customers before commercialization.
